    AN ACT To amend, on an emergency basis, the Universal Paid Leave
 Amendment Act of 2016 to prohibit insurers, other than self-insured employers
 and insurers acting as third-party administrators for self-insured employers,
 from reducing short-term disability benefits based on actual or estimated paid
 leave benefits, and to authorize administrative and civil enforcement against
 insurers, other than self-insured employers and insurers acting as third-party
 administrators for self-insured employers, that violate the prohibition; and to
 amend Title I of the Insurance Trade and Economic Development Amendment Act of
 2000 to make offsetting or reducing benefits under a short-term disability
 insurance policy based on estimated or actual benefits received under the
 Universal Paid Leave Amendment Act of 2016 enforceable under that law

    AN ACT To amend, on an emergency basis, due to congressional
 review, Chapter 10 of Title 47 of the District of Columbia Official Code to
 provide a real property tax exemption to the properties designated as Lots 824
 and 826, Square 2950, to provide recordation and transfer tax exemptions for
 documents recorded with respect to such properties, to require the developer to
 spend a certain percentage of its total project budget with certified and small
 business enterprises, and to require the developer to report that spending to
 the Department of Small and Local Business Development

    AN ACT To amend, on an emergency basis, due to congressional
 review, the Grant Administration Act of 2013 to require a grantor agency to
 maintain records of any sole source justifications and final agency
 justifications related to the selection of a grantee and to make these
 documents available to the Mayor or to a member of the Council upon
 request

    AN ACT To amend, on an emergency basis, the Equitable Impact
 Assistance for Local Businesses Act of 2020 to clarify what types of
 investments the Fund Manager can provide to an eligible business, provide that
 the Fund Manager shall establish as well as manage the Equity Impact Fund, and
 clarify that the initial District contribution to the Equity Impact Fund shall
 be in the form of a grant

    AN ACT To amend the Anti-SLAPP Act of 2010 to clarify that the
 Anti-SLAPP Act of 2010 shall not apply to any claim brought by the

    AN ACT To amend, on an emergency basis, due to congressional
 review, the Homeless Services Reform Act of 2005 to grant the Director of the
 Department of Human Services the authority to exercise emergency powers
 regarding Continuum of Care services during the existence of a public emergency
 declaration

  • Act 24-206, B 477 – "Medical Marijuana Patient Access Emergency Amendment Act of 2021"

    AN ACT To amend, on an emergency basis, the Legalization of
 Marijuana for Medical Treatment Initiative of 1999 to allow qualifying patients
 with a written recommendation from an authorized practitioner within the last 2
 years to register with the Alcoholic Beverage Regulations Administration
 ("ABRA"), to allow qualifying patients and caregivers whose registration cards
 have expired or will expire between March 1, 2020, and January 31, 2022, to
 continue purchasing, possessing, and administering cannabis until January 31,
 2022, at which point the qualifying patient or caregiver will need to acquire a
 new registration card, to increase the amount of dried cannabis a qualifying
 patient may possess at any one time from 4 ounces to 8 ounces, to provide for
 the issuance of biennial registration cards to patients and caregivers who
 register with ABRA by January 31, 2022; and to amend Title 22-C of the District
 of Columbia Municipal Regulations to allow qualifying patients to establish
 residency in the District with one document, including a telephone bill or bank
 statement containing a District address

  • Act 24-194, B 392 – "Criminal Justice Involvement Reduction Emergency Amendment Act of 2021"

    AN ACT To amend, on an emergency basis, the Criminal Justice
 Coordinating Council for the District of Columbia Establishment Act of 2001 to
 require the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to submit reports to the
 Mayor and the Council to determine what factors, programs, or interventions
 effectively prevent District youth from entering the juvenile and criminal
 justice systems, and to analyze the types of school-based incidents that lead
 to law enforcement referrals or arrests
