WORKERS' COMPENSATION COURT APPELLATE DIVISION DECISION OF THE APPELLATE DIVISION GILROY, J.This is the employee's appeal from a trial court decree finding that his incapacity had ended and ordering the suspension of compensation benefits. We deny the appeal. The employee has filed as "reasons of appeal" a general "narrative" type of review of the evidence. We are unable to ascertain from the "reasons of appeal" in what manner or where in the record error is alleged. The law imposes upon an appellant a duty of specificity. Section 28-35-28 requires that there be filed: "...reasons of appeal stating specifically all matters determined adversely to him which he desires to appeal..." This requirement cannot be disregarded or taken lightly. Bissonnette vs. Federal Dairy Co., Inc., R.I. , 472 A.2d 1223 (1984); State vs. Hurley, R.I. , 490 A.2d 979 (1985). The reasons of appeal in the instant case do not meet the Bissonnette or Hurley specificity standards. In Bissonnette, the court stated: "...the employee's reasons of appeal were nothing more than general recitations that the decree was against the law and the evidence and that the trial commissioner placed an untenable burden on the employee.
