Your letter states: "Pursuant to our recent conversation during the past legislative session, I am seeking a statement from you regarding whether or not there is any conflict in members of the law firm of which I am now practicing representing Defendants in criminal matters in Warren County, Mississippi. As I stated to you during our conversation, I began on April 1, 1984, practicing law with Gerald Hosemann who prior to that time had been associated with Frank G. Vollor, who is presently the Warren County Prosecuting Attorney. Even though Mr. Hosemann and I are maintaining our office in the same office building with Mr. Vollor and sharing the rental expense for the building, we are not associated with him financially in any other manner and we are practicing as Harper & Hosemann, maintaining a separate post office address, and separate phone numbers from Mr. Vollor, who is practicing as a solo practitioner. We are not connected publicly or privately in any other manner other than sharing rental of the building in which our offices are located. I do not believe that there is any reason why Mr. Hosemann and I should not be able to practice...
