Any 10 or more persons, inhabitants of this state, who shall desire to form an agricultural or horticultural society in any county, township, city or village, or in any 2 or more of them, being contiguous, in this state, may make, sign and acknowledge articles of association, before any officer authorized to take acknowlegments of deeds in this state, and file the same in the corporation and securities bureau of the department of commerce.
