         Judge Gerald D. Blanton          434 E. Cherry          Ackerman, Mississippi 39735          Justice Court Judge Bonds, Jury and Phone           Dear Judge:          Attorney General A. F. Summer has received your letter of December 27, 1979, and has assigned it to the undersigned for research and reply. In your letter you state:
“As Justice Court Judge, elect for District 5, Choctaw County, I would like an answer to the following questions: Do I set the bond for the person brought into my court? In case of a jury trial, do I use the circuit clerk's wheel? Since the phone is mandatory does the county pay for it?”
         This office shall respond to the three questions outlined in your letter concerning procedure in justice courts as follows:
1. “Do I set the bond for the person brought into my court?”
         Section 99-33-7 of the Mississippi Code, Annotated, 1972, provides the necessary statutory authority for a justice court judge to set bail.
2. “In case of a jury trial, do I use the circuit clerk's wheel?”
         Section 13-5-26 of the Mississippi Code, Annotated, 1972, as amended...
