PRACTICES COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fair Po-
litical Practices Commission, pursuant to the au-
thority vested in it by Sections 82011, 87303, and
87304 ofthe Govern ment Code to review proposed
conict–of–interestcodes,willreviewtheproposed/
amendedconict–of–interestcodesofthefollowing:

A written comment period has been established
commencing on January 31, 2025, and closing on
March17,2025Writtencommentsshouldbedirected
totheFairPoliticalPracticesCommission,Attention
BelenCisneros,1102QStreet,Suite3050,Sacramen-
to,California95811.
Attheendofthe45–daycommentperiod,thepro-
posedconict–of–interestcodeswillbesubmittedto
theCommission’sExecutiveDirectorfortheirreview,
unlessanyinterestedpersonortheirdulyauthorized
representativerequests,nolaterthan15dayspriorto
thecloseofthewrittencommentperiod,apublichear-
ingbeforethefullCommission.Ifapublichearingis
requested,theproposedcodeswillbesubmittedtothe
Commissionforreview.
The Executive Director of the Commission will
review the above–referenced conict–of–interest
codes, proposed pursuant to Govern ment Code Sec-
tion87300,whichdesignate,pursuanttoGovernment
Code Section 87302, employees whomust d isclose
certain investments, interests in real property and
income.
The Executive Director of the Commission, upon
their own motion or at the request of any interest-
ed person, will approve, or revise and approve, or
return the propose d to the agency forrev isionand
re–submissionwithin60dayswithoutfurthernotice.
Anyinterestedpersonmaypresentstatements,ar-
guments, or comments, in w riting to the Executive
Director of the Commission, relative to review of
theproposedconict–of–interestcodes.Anywritten
comments must be received no later than March 17,
2025.Ifapublichearingistobeheld,oralcomments
maybepresentedtotheCommissionatthehearing.
COST TO LOCAL AGENCIES
Thereshallbenoreimbursementforanyneworin-
creased costs to local government which may result
fromcompliancewiththesecodesbecausetheseare
notnewprogramsmandatedonlocalagenciesbythe
codes since the requirements descr ibed herein were
mandatedbythePoliticalReformActof1974.There-
fore,theyarenot“costsmandatedbythestate”asde-
nedinGovernmentCodeSection17514.
EFFECTONHOUSING
COSTS AND BUSINESSES
Compliancewiththecodeshasnopotentialeect
onhousingcostsoronprivatepersons,businesses,or
smallbusinesses.
AUTHORITY
Government Code Sections 82011, 87303 and
87304provide that the Fair Political Practices Com-
mission as the code–reviewing body for the above
conict–of–interestcodesshallapprovecodesassub-
mitted,revisetheproposedcode,andapproveitasre-
vised, or retur n the proposed code for revision and
re–submission.
REFERENCE
Government Code Sections 87300 and 87306
provide that agencies shall adopt and promulgate
conict–of–interestcodespursuanttothePoliticalRe-
formActandamendtheircodeswhenchangeisne-
cessitatedbychangedcircumstances.
