         Mrs. Betty Deaton          Justice Court Judge          Mainstream Mall Complex          Greenville, Mississippi 38701          Replevin Removal of Tenant           Dear Judge:          Attorney General Bill Allain has received your letter of January 21, 1980, and has assigned it to the undersigned for research and reply. In your letter you state:
“At the mandatory training session for Justice Court Judges, I understood we had no jurisdiction to handle replevins or removal of tenants who resided outside our district . In the past I had processed these as I did open accounts and if the defendant did not appear on court day and claim venue then judgment was entered by default and after ten (10) days the next process was issued (on replevin-pick up of items) or on the (tenant, the warrant of removal was issued to remove him from the premises). Since another Judge in may County understood differently, I need your formal opinion on the above two issues.”
         In response to your first question, this office would respectfully draw your attention to Section 11-37-107 of the Mississippi Code, Annotated, 1972, as amended, which establishes...
