For purposes of this chapter-

(1) except as provided in section <codecitation statecd="US" sessionyear="2021" datatype="S" title="2" catchline=""Federal mandate" defined">1555</codecitation> of this title, the terms defined under section 658 of this title shall have the meanings as so defined; and</subsect>

(2) the term "Director" means the Director of the Congressional Budget Office.
