         Hearing before ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE CHANDRA L. BLACK, in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.           Claimant, pro se, failed to appear at the hearing.           Respondents were represented by Ms. Amy C. Markam, Attorney at Law, Little Rock, Arkansas.           CHANDRA L. BLACK ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE.          STATEMENT OF THE CASE          A hearing was held on October 24, 2018, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Said hearing was held pursuant to Dillard v. Benton County Sheriff’s Office, 87 Ark.App. 379, 192 S.W.3d 287 (2004), for the purpose of dealing with the respondents’ Motion to Dismiss, the above-referenced matter for failure to prosecute.          Appropriate Notice of this hearing was attempted on all parties to their last known address, in the manner prescribed by law.          The record consists of the transcript of the October 24, 2018, hearing, and the exhibits contained therein.          DISCUSSION          On February 21, 2018, the claimant filed a Form AR-C, with this Commission. At the time of the filing of the Form AR-C, the claimant had retained, the legal services of Ms. Laura Beth York. Regarding the alleged injury, the claimant stated he was repairing jacks on a conveyer, when another employee collapsed on the conveyor line. According to the claimant, he sustained injuries to his left ring finger, in the form of an amputation. The claimant also alleged injuries to his left hand, along with symptoms of pain radiating down to his left elbow and other whole body.          The claimant requested both initial and additional benefits. Hence, all of the boxes for benefits listed under the sections for initial and additional benefits were checked. It appears that the respondents accepted the claim as a compensable injury for the claimant’s left ring finger amputation. ...
