ARINDER, ESQUIRE (Bar No.: 5254) WELLS, MARBLE & HURST, PLLC Attorney for Employer and Carrier.          ORDER FOR INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EVALUATION          THIS MATTER came before this Administrative Judge on the Joint On Tenus Motion of the parties for an independent medical evaluation. The claimant, Tameka Jackson, sustained injuries to her right knee and left wrist on June 18, 2019, when she slipped and fell on a wet floor while working as a dealer at Gold Strike Casino Resort. Ms. Jackson is currently being treated by Dr. Claiborne Christian for her right knee injury, and surgery has been recommended.          At the request of the employer and carrier Dr. Bret Sokoloff provided a second surgical evaluation on January 10,2020. It is Dr. Sokoloff s opinion that the surgery recommended by Dr. Christian is neither medically necessary nor causally related to the slip and fall at work.          Due to the differing opinions of Dr. Christian and Dr. Sokoloff, a dispute has arisen regarding the medical necessity of surgery and whether the recommended surgery is causally related to the claimant's work-related accident. Based upon a review of the documents on file with the Commission, this Administrative Judge finds that the joint motion is well taken and should be granted.          This Administrative Judge finds that an independent medical evaluation by Dr, Cooper Terry, an orthopaedic specialist, would be helpful in resolving the medical issues.          Dr. Terry is asked to examine claimant in order to advise the Commission as follows:
1. Whether the surgery recommended by Dr. Claiborne Christian is medically necessary, and if so, whether the need for surgery is causally related to the work-related accident;
