Each judge of the Orleans Parish Juvenile Court shall be entitled to a vacation of thirty days. Whenever a judge of the Orleans Parish Juvenile Court is unable to serve for any reason other than while the judge is on vacation, the Louisiana Supreme Court shall appoint an attorney possessed of the same qualifications required of a judge of the court, who shall possess the powers of and discharge the duties of judge of the court during the period of inability to serve.
