Box 509          Hazlehurst, Mississippi 39083          Dear Mr. Lotterhos:          This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of January 19, 1976, which inquiry the Attorney General has assigned to me for research and reply.          You inquire as to whether the Board of Supervisors is authorized to construct a dead end road as a county road if it should obtain the proper right of way therefor and dedicate same as a public road.          I am sure that you are familiar with the procedures set forth in Sections 65-7-57 and 65-7-59, Mississippi Code of 1972, pertaining to the manner of laying out a public road. You will note that the statutes make no requirement as to the termination of the road and, accordingly, such is a determination within the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors.          Also it is the...
