a. There is established the "Medicaid Fraud Control Fund" as a nonlapsing, revolving fund in the Department of the Treasury. The fund shall be comprised of monies credited or accruing to the fund pursuant to this section.

b. Beginning with the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2007, the State Treasurer shall deposit 25% of the State share of monies recovered pursuant to subsection d. of section 5 of this act into the fund, to be used solely for the purposes of subsection c. of this section. c. In addition to the annual appropriation provided pursuant to section 13 of this act, the monies deposited into the "Medicaid Fraud Control Fund" shall be utilized by the Medicaid Inspector General and the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit for the exclusive purpose of investigating and prosecuting Medicaid fraud claims.
