         Mr. Orvel E. Musgrove          Coroner          Oktibbeha County          Post Office Box 1006          Starkville, Mississippi 39759          Inquest           Dear Sir:          Attorney General Summer has received your letter of request dated January 21, 1977, and assigned it to the undersigned for research and reply.          You ask for an opinion on a situation wherein a body is found dead at home. The doctor was called and he asked the family to call a coroner.          Attached you will find a copy of Section 19-21-11, Mississippi Code of 1972 . The decision as to whether or not an inquest should be performed under these conditions would be one for the coroner to determine. If, from the information given him, the death is from a known cause, an inquest would not be in order. The fact that the physician requested a coroner should be influential but not decisive.
