Gen. 82]Each soil conservation district is required to have corporate seal.October 4, 1940.Oregon State Soil Conservation Committee.Gentlemen: You have requested my opinion whether or not it is necessary to buy a seal for each soil conservation district organized in accordance with chapter 555, Oregon Laws, 1939, in view of the fact that all actions of the supervisors must be approved by the state committee. Subdivision 10 of section 8 of said chapter 555 provides:
"* * * The supervisors thereof shall have the following powers subject to the written approval of the state soil conservation committee:
"(10) to sue and be sued in the name of the district; to have a seal, which seal shall be judicially noticed; to have perpetual succession unless terminated as
