         Mr. Leo Parrish          Panola County Constable          Post Office Box 16          Crenshaw, Mississippi 38621          Constable Radio Equipment           Dear Sir:          Attorney General Summer has received your letter of request dated July 14, 1976, and has assigned it to the undersigned for research and reply.          You refer to the need of two-way radio equipment in your car for your official use as constable. You ask for assistance in obtaining this necessary equipment.          I find no statutory authority for the county to purchase or pay for radio equipment for use by a constable. The Attorney General has no means nor facilities to provide or require that any other agency provide radio equipment for any officer.          You advised me by telephone that, if necessary, you would pay for the equipment yourself.
