This act shall be applied and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the laws with respect to the subject of this act among states enacting similar laws. Except as expressly otherwise provided in this act, nothing in this act is intended to be construed to alter or supersede applicable law pertaining to the creation, perfection, priority or enforceability of instruments affecting real estate, including conservation or preservation easements.
