FRIDRICH, JUDGE.          On this 24th day of June, 2020, this matter came on for trial in Omaha, Nebraska, at the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court located in the Douglas County Courthouse. Jessica Voelker appeared on behalf of the defendant. The plaintiff, Joseph Zimmerman, did not appear. An attempt was made to call the plaintiff at 402-215-2213, but there was no answer and no ability to leave a message. Ms. Voelker made an oral motion to dismiss the case with prejudice. Upon consideration, that motion was sustained in part and overruled in part. The motion is sustained, but plaintiff is hereby granted 21 days to contact the Court in writing or by telephone to express his desire to prosecute this case. Plaintiff must contact the Court in one of two ways. First, within 21 days of the date of this Order, plaintiff can contact the Court by telephone at 402-595-3900 and ask to speak to Judge Fridrich.
